Product Strategy Leadership
- How I set direction: I translate user + business insight into clear product bets, narratives, and priorities.
- How I align teams: I use written strategy, decision logs, and crisp success metrics to build cross-functional buy-in.
- How I measure impact: I define leading indicators (activation/engagement) and lagging indicators (conversion/retention) early, then iterate via experiments.
- How I execute: I connect strategy to delivery through roadmaps, OKRs, and lightweight operating rhythms.
Strategy toolkit (what you’ll see in my work)
- Product narrative + positioning
- Opportunity mapping (problems → opportunities → bets)
- Prioritization (impact/effort, RICE, sequencing)
- KPI design (north star + input metrics)
- Experimentation + learning loops
Strategic wins (highlights)
- Conversion strategy (agency website): Defined website KPIs and research insights to clarify what proof and pathways drive inquiries and applications.
- Retention-minded UX (Basket): Designed and tested subscription controls (pause/resume) and flow improvements; iterations reduced misclick rate 20% → 7%.
- Content + discovery strategy (Vibz Blog): Designed information discovery/search patterns and engagement features aligned to KPIs (search usage, bounce-off, conversion).
I founded The Ponderers Consulting (for Strategy & Design) and Angles (for Execution & Implementation) to help people and businesses turn vision into systems, and systems into success. My work is powered by a diverse background in psychology, operations management, product design, and even pastoral leadership.
Along the way, I’ve also explored the worlds of Software Engineering and DevOps, which gives me enough technical fluency to work with developers and think in systems—even though I don’t code deeply.
